AVAILABLE NOW: Absentee Ballots


Dedham’s Town Election is Saturday, April 13, 2019.

That’s the first day of April vacation week, so if you are going to be out of town that day, you can vote using an Absentee Ballot. EVERY VOTE COUNTS, so please vote by Absentee Ballot if you will be out of town on Election Day.


HOW DO I VOTE ABSENTEE?

You may have an Absentee Ballot mailed to you at any address or you may vote at Town Hall, 26 Bryant Street.


Voting at Town Hall:

Ballots are now available at the Town Clerk's office at Town Hall (26 Bryant Street).


The hours for voting at the Town Clerk’s office at Town Hall are:

  • 8:30am – 4:30 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

  • 8:30am – 7:00 pm on Wednesday


Please note on the Friday before the election, April 12, absentee voting closes at 12 noon.


Requesting an absentee ballot:

To have a form mailed to you, please fill out an application for Absentee Ballot and return it to the Town Clerk’s office as soon as possible.

Submit in person at the Town Clerk’s office at Town Hall:

8:30am – 4:30 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

8:30am – 7:00 pm on Wednesday


Submit your application early to allow sufficient time for the ballot to be mailed to you and be returned by the close of polls on Election Day.


Although the deadline to apply for absentee ballots is noon the day before the election, we recommend submitting the application as soon as possible.
